The ICGC Relational Practice Education Affinity Group has launched! We met via zoom in early March — RCT practitioners and graduate students from K12, homeschooling, higher ed, government, adult learning, human resources, and other disciplines.

Moving forward we plan to explore the application of RCT across domains and disciplines, with substantial time in each meeting to discuss our work, share strategies, and build our network of RCT-influenced educators. In addition, we aspire to be a supportive and generative space for novice and seasoned researchers. Through initial brainstorming, we identified several potential session topics including: working relationally in spaces that are not RCT-centric, authenticity in teaching, and cultural context in relational teaching.

We welcome new and experienced practitioners and extend an enthusiastic invitation to students as well! Remaining spring sessions will be held Fridays (April 9, May 7) around noon ET (we are still finalizing the meeting time).
